The spacious estate of the late actress Kirstie Alley has recently changed ownership. This impressive 7,815-square-foot mansion in Clearwater, Florida, known for its grandeur, has fetched a final selling price of $5,220,000. The beloved actress, best remembered for her role in the iconic sitcom “Cheers” and her appearances in various film and TV projects, passed away in December 2022 after a battle with colon cancer. Now, her remarkable property has found a new owner.

Space and luxury are the defining features of this fabulous Florida estate. The main house comprises seven bedrooms, six full bathrooms, and one half-bath, offering plenty of room for family and guests. Additionally, a two-bedroom guest suite is equipped with a kitchen and a laundry room, ensuring undeniable comfort for all.

Upon approaching the residence, a picturesque courtyard with a stone fireplace welcomes guests. The luxurious front entrance reveals an immaculate foyer with a curved staircase and double-height ceiling, setting the tone for luxury. The first floor boasts two bedrooms, 2.5 baths, multiple sitting areas, and two elegant dining rooms, all adorned with hardwood flooring, high ceilings, and stylish travertine finishes. The kitchen – featuring sleek maple and oak surfaces and floating shelves –  is a chef’s dream. And one of the dining spaces is accentuated by a wall of picture windows.

What truly sets this estate apart are the incredible views of Clearwater Harbor from virtually any spot in the house. With multiple living rooms and balconies offering breathtaking vistas, the home’s newest owners will be surrounded by beauty. Upstairs features two bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, a lounge, and a laundry room. The primary bathroom boasts a deep soaking tub and a double shower, while another showcases pink tiling. The basement level houses another bedroom, bathroom, and a versatile recreation room. The property, constructed in 1993, also includes a renovated duplex guesthouse, an inviting in-ground pool, three balconies, and a second courtyard. The outdoors features a 60-foot dock, making it perfect for water enthusiasts.

Kirstie Alley purchased this magnificent estate in 2000 for $1.5 million from the late Lisa Marie Presley, who also owned the property. The 7,185-square-foot mansion is wrapped within a 200-foot wall and verdant trees, ensuring privacy for its prominent residents. Its three levels provide ample space for comfortable living and hosting guests.

Before her passing, Kirstie was receiving treatment in Tampa at the Moffitt Cancer Center, which is nearby. It’s worth noting that the property is located in Clearwater, known as the spiritual home of Scientology since 1975. Alley and Presley were affiliated with Scientology, although Presley reportedly left the religion in 2014. In a curious twist of ownership, Alley sold the home to Carol A. Berc in March 2001, only to repurchase it in 2008 for $1.8 million.

On December 5, 2022, Alley’s children announced her passing through her social media channels. The beloved actress was reported to have passed away at this Florida residence. While the property may have changed hands, its charm and grandeur will be remembered, just as Kirstie Alley’s legacy lives on.
