Private real estate investment and financial services firm DLP Capital has begun the construction of a luxury RV resort in North Florida named “Dream Outdoor Resort Callahan.” This resort is a component of DLP Capital’s larger plan to improve and reinvent the experience of staying at an RV park. The project includes many high-end features, such as a splash park, golf course, and cottages for rent for tiny homes.
The resort, strategically located in Callahan, 20 miles north of Jacksonville, is in the northeast corner of Florida, close to the Georgia border. Dream Outdoor Resort Callahan extends 265 acres and will host 397 pads, comprising both back-in and pull-through sites. Among the many other features of the resort are a dog park, wash station, mini-golf, arcade, pickleball courts, restaurant, tiki bar, and pool.
Fifty-three tiny home cottage rentals cater to the expanding market interested in simplified living experiences. These cottages offer a taste of minimalist living amidst the lush subtropical beauty surrounding the resort. Pets and ADA accessibility are also available. A multibillion-dollar industry is emerging around tiny homes as Americans look for ways to live more simply and leave less of an environmental impact.
