If you love real estate coupled with a bit of drama, you’ll be pleased to know that Netflix is ready to release Selling the City. Viewers will follow real estate agents at the top of the game at one of the largest brokerages in the US, Douglas Elliman. Allow us to introduce the cast before they undoubtedly become household names.

Abigail Godfrey

Ready to introduce New York City to South Carolina, Abigail Godfrey brings southern charm and a healthy dose of determination to the real estate scene. Southern roots notwithstanding, Godfrey adores New York City architecture and proximity to Broadway, citing Dear Evan Hansen as her favorite musical.

She relays to Tudum her appreciation for the “gothic buildings, carriage houses, and wrought iron balconies” of Gramercy and her love for the iconic Chrysler Building for its “Art Deco vibe and the many gargoyles.”

Godfrey knows that passion is a great place to start, but it can only get you far in the New York City real estate market. But she’s well prepared to “get (a) foot in the door” with “a whole lot of determination, humility, and some XL cojones.” We can’t wait to watch how our Southern girl sells the city.

Steve Gold

With a last name like “Gold,” a promising future seems all but certain. Already living up to the moniker, viewers may recognize Steve Gold from his casting on Bravo’s nine seasons of Million Dollar Listing New York. Hailing from Stamford, Connecticut, Gold brings expertise from collaboration with The Corcoran Group.

In addition to his business acumen, Gold enjoys renovating properties. He told Tudum that his goal during the reno process is to “preserve and enhance the bones while layering in contemporary and minimal, wabi-sabi elements. It can look simple to the untrained eye, but the execution is incredibly detailed.”

With this eye for detail, skillset, and experience, Gold will undoubtedly be ready to make his mark on Selling the City.

Gisselle Meneses Nunez

Proud Latina Gisselle Meneses Nunez is a poderosa tour de force on the New York real estate scene. Originally from Elizabeth, New Jersey, Nunez brings a sense of realness and big dreams to her career, which she calls “a high-stakes chess game in stilettos.” Keeping her balance with grace, Nunez stays ready, looking polished as she pursues her dreams in the city.

She’s grown fond of her homes across the Hudson from Jersey, citing her favorite Manhattan neighborhoods, including TriBeCa, SoHo, and the Meatpacking District (of 2009-2010 in particular). Finding that harmony between hustle and zen, Nunez recommends checking out Central Park at sunrise and enjoying a musical, her favorite being Come From Away.

Taylor Middleton

Nashville native Taylor Middleton has already proven herself a real estate force to be reckoned with, having sold over $500 million in real estate with firm Douglas Elliman. Though she remains true to her Tennessee roots, Middleton adores Manhattan, particularly TriBeCa, calling the city “the best place to live, work, and play…a neighborhood known for its historic cobblestone streets, cast iron loft buildings, luxury real estate, and [it’s] recently become a cultural hub for art galleries.”

Outside of real estate, Middleton winds down by working out, walking her pup Mac, engaging in self-care, and centering before a big day.

Justin Tuinstra

Justin Tuinstra is ready for a challenge. Understanding firsthand how difficult the Manhattan Real estate market can be, Tuinstra tells Tudum that the “New York City real estate market is not for the weak-minded…You must have a strong desire to hustle. We show our listings—there’s no key lockbox for access.”

Even so, having already sold more than $500 million worth of property, Tuinstra demonstrates he is more than up to the task. Whenever he finds it during his downtime, Tuinstra enjoys NYC landmarks, including Madison Square Garden, the Bowery Ballroom, and Joe’s Pub.

Jordyn Taylor

California girl Jordyn Taylor went bi-coastal, heading to NYC and falling in love with Brooklyn’s “calm, culture, and cuisine” along with “the thrifting between Williamsburg and Park Slope (which) is [chef’s kiss]!” Acclimating nicely to New York, Taylor cites her passion for philanthropy, pizza, and the musical Hamilton for its intentional multicultural casting choices. Taylor understands the importance of networking as she pursues real estate and stays informed about local developments and NYC landmarks.

Eleanora Srugo

Israeli-born real estate agent Eleanora Srugo can attest to the power of making it big in the big city, having closed an eye-popping 75 million dollar deal in 2023 alone. The very persona of determination and hard work, Srugo details her daily regimen to Tudum: “I always wake up at 5 a.m. and find an hour for the gym…[I]f I have clients I need about an hour for glam. I am all or nothing—either looking like a messy slob or ultra-glamorous.” Given the stunning success, we’re guessing it’s more likely glam.

Jade Chan

Manhattan native Jade Chan has made her way up and down the East Coast, spending much of her childhood in Atlanta. Now in Chelsea and having sold over $800 million in property, Chan seeks to make a distinctive mark on the NYC market. She seems well on her way, currently holding a development portfolio valued at $2 billion. We can’t wait to watch her make her next move on Selling the City.
